Fruitful day!

Started today with at 11am, met steph and Ting for brunch! So happy that the generous waffer aunty gave me almost 2 scoops of choc chip ice cream even though I only wanted 1 scoop! Hehe.. :) The aunty likes me!


Then, we headed to WSC's block E family day! The game in which I am stationed to is definitely not easy! They are suppose to use chopstick to 'kiap' the marbles out from the small pool of water! And the trick is, we added black water color in the water.. and in the end, the water was totally black! Cant see the marble at all! Its not easy but the boys and some parents were really good at it! :) So happy to see them taking out the marble.. *smilez*


I got this sudden empathizing feeling in me when I was there! One parent came and thank me for being a volunteer! (She surely didnt know I only went for 2 sessions..:P) I was surprised too by their performances as well as their spirit in those games! :)


After WSC, I went JP to meet Cy. Heehee, Ichiban was great.. ate till so bloated. Its worth while though I stink after I get out of there! Bleahhhhhhh!!!


I was so tired that I fell asleep for almost 2 hours when I came back! Man, it was suppose to be a short nap! T_T

I am happy.. cuz I just finish one chapter of personality! Yay.. productive and indeed a fruitful I had! :)

The unseen reality!

I just talked to my mom on the telephone a few minutes ago. Then, again without fail, each I time I talk to her, I feel I miss my family so much! I am not only missing them, I am missing all the events in their lifes! OMG.. They are suppose to be the closest to me in the world entire world yet, I missing all their activities.. Its a saddening truth! Everyone of us who leaves home to pursue our education are experiencing the same thing! When I feel totally contented with life in Sg, I suddenly realise that what I forgone for this degree is way more and beyond what I can imagine! Years back, I see them everyday! every single day! Now, I am TOLD this and that! No longer I feel to be part of them! Of course, I feel totally guilty for not calling them often enough due to my laziness and absent-mindedness! I promise! I will try to call home as often as I can! Argh.. its just not easy to be able to cope with the quizes, and unlimited readings week after week, daily chores ! I hope I can, I do not wish to miss more things in life! :(

I am told by that something bad happened in my aunt's family. So sad, that I felt useless that there is nothing I can do to help! Well, I understand that each family would have their own problem. Seriously, this is true! and nothing but the saddening truth! However, everyone in the family still put in all they can to solve the problem. Family is always family. Blood is always thicker than water rite? Even though that, my dad once told me, in the end everyone of us will lie straight in a dark place all alone! Yep, that's when we no longer feel! Opps, that another truth!

Haizz... okay, stop it! Julyn choose to live in naiveness! Heehee cuz reality is never a nice state to be in... Hehe.. let's be childish, let's be idealistic , let's be ourselves!

Its suppose to be a happy day! Indeed, I am happy! :) Just got back from WSC, and seriously its fun! I begin to enjoy it very much! But, today is the last session of this semester! And when it starts again after the final exam, MM, Yam and Steph can't join us anymore. Why am I starting to miss them already! :(

Oooh ya, the quiz for Cognitive is finally over! Happy though the test wasn't that easy! :)

That's just temporary relief! The real work begins now! Final is just 20 days ago.. (sorry people, I just have to remind u ! haahaa) I hope I can 'chiong' and do the best I can. At the same time, I am worried and stress up! Why people are trying so hard to live up to their own stardard?? I hope I had a much lower one! But, that's not me from the very start! *stress*

I can't wait for the Quiz to end as soon as possible, there are so many things I am looking forward... :) WSC's second and also the last session tmr night, WSC's family day this Saturday, shopping this Sat, and dinner at Swensen this Sat(Go there for my free pizza :P).

I have no idea what should I type for the title for this entry.. as what's in my mind was so random! Even the point and I am sitting at my table blogging is a random activity to do right now! Cognitive quiz is this Thursday.. and the more I am reading it, the more I feel so angry with this particular module.. We have this weird lecturer and its even greater with the lame tutor! Who sings birthday songs in tut?? Haiz.. :(

Okiez, as I was attending to HP204 tut, one sudden thought came into me.. EQ. Am I low in EQ or something? I am terrible at managing stress and anger. Perhaps some stress and anger management course will help me! Can't stand the temperamental self of me! Poor Cy that often has to tell me dun to be so stressful.. Yea.. I understand though that if I keep stressing myself out, nothing will eventually be done. However, if I could keep my cool, things will finally turn out well! Hmm, that's what I tell people around me when they tell me they are stressed out! Good theory but its just too difficult to apply. :(

Was mugging in LWN library just now and Qi suddenly took out these! So cute! And I was so bad that I tricked Xian that they were biscuits. Pretty hor, I was so horrified by her when she smelled the cone, making me feel she gonna put it in her mouth! So, I quickly tell her its no food! Man, if she ever put it in, she gonna kill me! LOL. Then, we started taking out the parts of it, the ice cream, the strawberry and everything.. Very much like small kids playing with puzzles! Haha.. :) Oh I think I havent say what it is.. it is actually eraser lar.. Who will erase with such pretty eraser rite?? :)

I better go sleep now! Need a nap badly before start again mugging with Cy later~

Yesterday was a Malaccan gathering in Singapore. Wondering why a gathering at such a time when everyone's final is so soon, less than a month away? Hee We celebrated damian's 21st Birthday in advance!! So nice of us rite? Putting away all the readings and workload to prepare the steamboat and having yip and pozan coming all the way from NUS and Edvin from his SIA training place.. :)

Okiez.. back to the steamboat.. lots of food as usual.. I think what I ate most was crabstick and sotong ball! Haha.. Funny thing is Jeeva, a vegetarian said he never see squid b4! Then I told him that we have sotong ball.. He can see at least how sotong ball looks like.. He gave me a funny look! Haha!!

School is always fun with MANIC.. But Suddenly I realise that this semester is going to end very very soon... OMG! Apart from exam, I so so so gonna miss Yam, Steph and MM that are all leaving for GIP next semester! :( I think without stephie, Qi and I will be very lazy to go for breakfast already! Haizz.. and without the noise from yam's whining totally gonna be total silence! *SOBS*

Just got back from WSC.. it was the first session and I went even though I was not feeling well. Came back to hall after a very very crappy tutorial to quickly fall onto my bed to sleep! :) Then, no doubt that my headache was killing me, I insist on attending the very first session to the boy's home after popping some panadol! Hee...

Then rite now, here am I blogging because I just feel like sitting and stone for a while b4 meeting ting and steph to study! I have been studying everyday and everytime I can find time! Sound so "chiong" but the time is still not enough :( That's a sad truth! Oh ya, I got my result back for Cognitive Psych today.. well, I did fairly okay~ and again it somewhat the same as MM.. Why do I always have to get the same marks as u... Haizz Can't stand it! Let's leave for the final to differetiate us! hahaha... :P

Hur Hur Hur... I went out again today! OMG! Exam is so soon.... less than one month time, yet I was out to watch Resident Evil: Extinction..

Well, its really very shocking throughout the entire movie... but I still insist on the very first episode.. That was great. Subsequent ones were just so-so... Still scare me until I held so tightly to Cy's arm but the plot isnt that fantastic.. :)

Weekend... :)

Weekend was wonderful. I was suppose to be in Mlk to celebrate my mom's birthday.. but because she went to Hat Yai, I stayed back with the thought that it would be another ordinary weekend. Hee I was wrong!

Friday, after class was Genos's BBQ. Fun should I say cause I haven't really had bbq in NTU b4. :P Moreover, it had been a while I last met up with them. Although it clashed with ChangChanYue's concert, more than expected turned up.. hehe causing the food to be NOT enough! Bleah..

Saturday was another exciting day.. Went to City Harvest with Cy. It was a great service. Seriously.. and it made me thought for a while.. People often get limited by their own reality, don't they? Its like.. If I keep thinking I can't do this due to that, that I never do it! :P

Hee then, after Expo.. Cy and I head straight to East Coast Park. The purpose was for us to take a break and de-stress a while at the sea. Cool though the weather by the sea after the heavy rain in the evening..

I didnt rotate the pic due to my laziness.. but even small kids know its coconut rite!! :P

Hari raya!

Good morning Peepz.. I just got up from a long long 9 hours of sleep.. Nice and contented! :) Then I realise that today isnt any ordinary Saturday if I would be in Msia. Because today is HARI RAYA!! Haha.. Not that I am a Malay, yet Hari Ray is the day I eat most delicious sambal prawn, ketupat, rendang chicken, and mee goreng. :( But this year looks like I m missing those time and food! :(

I remember one year I went to my mom's friend's house! Well, he was nice. Served us with big prawn! But but but I didnt realise that i keep eating up all the prawn in the table despite him topping up several times! Paiseh!! Then, once he left to the living room, my mom was like "eh plz dun keep eating ppl's prawn! Aiyoo.." When she say that, ooopz its too late left with one more in the plate. haha! Then when he return, he look at me and point to the one prawn and say "Come, finish up" Errr one more left like so sad like that.. but I still out of courtesy and dun wan to siasueh.. I said "its alrite.. I am full already btw." Hehe

The point is.. I miss the food during Hari Raya! and angpau!! They actually give me angpau le (except the fact that their angpau is not red, its green.. so should i say its chingpau?? ><" so not nice!! LOL)

So once again, Selamat menyambut Hari Raya Adilfitri! :) Walaupun saya tidak dapat menjamu makanan yang enak itu, namun tetap kenangan manis mengenainya tidak say lupai! (Man.. my malay so sucky liao..)

Lately, school and life was kinda boring. Day after day, tutorials after tutorials, lectures after lectures, meal after meal, and things just go all the same... until yesterday I began to wonder.. What's the purpose of me ? Do I live to outstand the rest? Do I live to have a normal live? Do I live to eat? I was going through some identity confusion I guess. :(

Have you all ever wonder? What do you really want to be... what are the goals you want to achieve? Hmmm... Too chim for me right now..

Woo Hoo.. Had steam boat yesterday with MANIC in hall 13 yesterday! Ermm I should state this! Not the entire MANIC were there, thanks to Yam and MM who 'pangseh' us for sushi at the SUN.. Angry.. and of course Jy who had to prepare for her Jap test today! Err why all pangseh cuz of Jap arr.. :P The steamboat was yummy.. lots and lots of food but not enough of quil egg!! :( and crabstick! :( next time must buy more of it! I was not feeling this estatic b4 the steamboat cuz i wasnt feeling well! I had been sleeping a lot yet feeling very very tired! I felt as though all my energy was sucked out and wats left was not much! Hee but of course after the steamboat and free ice cream from Qi's bf, I felt much much better! :) Laughter is the best medicine?? :P

Paiseh part is I kicked weng kit when I swim.. :P Before even enough, it started raining! Haiz how unpredictable! :P

Heee.. Julyn's 7 wonders

Hee.. Seven wonders of the world, namely the great wall of China, the pyramid built in Egypt, tower of Pisa, what else ar? Hmm.. But that's not important because without them, I still can survive! But without my own seven wonders, life will totally be miserable.. :P

first and foremost.. My contact lense! Without them, I am like blind! I can't see properly with my glasses.. Wonder why.. Maybe my eyes are too big and my glasses are just too small? heehehe .. But often hygience is wat always neglected by contact lense users. There are many people who get infections, and horrible consequences to their eyes! So never let this happen to us ya. The world is just too beautiful and if we can't see it, its really a pity! So, nevermind the few extra minutes to rub the contacts and soak it with solution ya! ( YES, I am meaning u Daph, nee and Jane.. I noe you all very lazy!!)

Second, I can't live without SLIPPER! hah.. I super impressed by those girls who can wear high heels! Full respect! :P I am a very casual girl.... So slipper is best.. can wear to lesson, to pool, to shop, to everywhere! :P

Thirdly, I can't live without my 'paopao' . Err that's my little bolster I hug to sleep everynight! I brought it to Sg from Mlk! Hah.. but when I return home on weekends and holidays, it stays here le... Like very childish bring it around! Hehehe.. But dun worry.. Back home there is one subtitute for it.. Its the same.. but different in smell! :P

Fourthly, an important thing in my life is SUSHI! I live just to eat japanese food! I remember there was once when My family and I visited China. Then we were brought to this place where many Chinese were killed brutally by the Jap. I told my sister that I wanna boycott jap food. My sister gave me the disbelieve look and say "dun talk la.. U can't one!" hehe and with time, she prove herself very true! :P

Alrite, another thing that I can't live without is of course people around me~ Dearest family, Cy and friends! Without them, Im incomplete! Hehehe

Number 6... one amazing I always thought of is the creation of technology.. Without Hp and laptop, how do I keep in touch with the fast rotating world. Every second, something changes! So bravo to Alexander Graham Bell who first create telephone! heee :P

Last but certainly not least, something very special I found out recently is CHOCOLATE! man, it does work inreducing stress. It makes me smile each time I pop on it. Ferrero remains the best! Cheap and nice! :P Royce Choc is just too ex to release my stress. I think I will be more stressed if I need Royce!

What's the feeling like each time you get up? Happy? Sleepy? Tired? Energized? Today is someone the very few morning I wake up in my new hall, Hall Of residence 13~ Feeling is not bad, and most important thing is I had a long long sleep! It makes me feel like I was home~ Usually I only have the chance to sleep more than 8 hours at home! That is because in NTU, most of the time, I had to chiong, study and eat breakfast with Cy ( I am so good rite~?? WLUEK)

Okiez.. Just blogged for the sake of blogging! Btw, I can't slack too long as I have not been studying my Electives subjects ( Genes and Chinese! )... Starting today!~

Mid term break~

Hmm.. I have dozen and dozen of things to blog about.. So just go one by one k.. Since what I have rite now after my today's disgusting essay-format mid term for Personality Psychology is TIME :P.... Hehehe..

Term break started last Friday, and on Saturday, mom and sis came Singapore. :P

Alrite.. Then Monday, was home lor.. Slack and went for facial! Woo Hoo.. Nice nice frozen cell facial.. :P and full body massage + sea salt spa. (actually wanted to do milk bathe, but then sea salt is better for skin!)

Nevertheless!! My hamster babies.. So cute la wei.. But then, the original cage was too small to accommodate le. So, we bought a brand new home for them. Hopefully they like it. :)

Then, time flies back home! Without realizing, its already Wed, and its time to come back to NTU. :P So sad la.. maybe next year NTU should extent the term break to 2 weeks lor.. 1 week is like so damn short la! :(

Heee! Then on Thurs, went to town to meet up with Manic to celebrate HuiHuey's 20th Birthday!! Hehe We ate at Pasta Cafe.. ( oppss I almost typed Pasta Market.. hehehe what a name la! )

Okie.. not forgetting the new hair cut that cy and I had during the break! Cy cut his hair in Team. And I had my most not worth it hair-cut in SG! Arghh See he is so formal lar.. with blazer somemore.. Hehe he just came back from photo-shooting for his main-comm lar.. that's why. :P

:) that's all for the entire week.. had fun pawning people in dota that day.. I first blooded someone lar..! But then most of the time, the game will end up sucky cuz I am just too noob for the ppl in Battlenet! arghh I need to get rid of this addiction badly! :P
