Its was a wonderful weekend...

Last Saturday, the day I was looking forward too was great. Cy and I woke up early and started our day with the visit to the GYM as we know we gonna consume so much... so much. :P We reached Sakae Sushi at 11.30 and started eating and eating until 230pm! Gosh, I tell u, I haven't been eating so much for so long already...

Altogether, we had 5 chawanmushi, 2 udon, 21 plates of colored plates in which consist of 7 temaki rolls, and 6 mochi! *bloated*

The chawanmushi was delicious...

The Udon was so-so. We had it because we wanted to eat everything~ LOL

Hmmm... temaki roll were tasty too. The salmon with Mango roll and mango with avocado were so so so nice... :)

Okay.. I know the mochi ice cream doesn't look very good here... but it was the best! LOL

=======

Sunday was a super tiring but damn fun day~ we woke up at 7! Rushed as we were slightly late, and managed to reach Yakun for breakfast at about 8... Had coffee with kaya butter toast. :)

Hee... We reached ZOO at about 930.

The very first animal we went to see was the Polar bear as that time was the feeding time. It was my first time seeing Polars. They are really really huge~ Gosh... they are scary actually even though look harmless. Their fav food is Malrus... you know... the sea lion kind with 2 tusks. So scary hor~ hehe

Look at him... so fat! LOL

Next, we quickly rushed to the girrafe. It was their feeding time and they only allow about 20 people to feed only. Luckily we managed to make it. :)

Guess what... girrafes eat carrot. *faint*

Their tongue can be as long as half a metro. Yucks.. and it licked my hand. Wee hock said it was poisonous... wluekk~

Zebra~

The orchid park. They have this in the Zoo as the national flower of Sg is Orchid. I was thinking why Orchid until Jennifer told me. Oh ya hor~ :)

LUNCH break~ We had so much of KFC yesterday. 4 of us, 10 pieces of chickens, 1 pop corn chicken, 5 pieces of chicken nuggets, 1 coleslaw, 2 whipped potatoes, and 1 cheezy fries... *fat*

After lunch, we went for a show. We stand quite front, near the stage as the seats were all taken up even though we reached quite early. So, we got splashed by the fishy water when the seal did his stun. *yucks*

Next, was the elephants of asia show. It was quite boring actually. They keep showing us how strong were the elephants by asking them to carry log after log. LOL

Oh, it was quite a pity that we didnt manage to meet Ah meng anymore. Ah Meng was the icon of Singapore Zoo. An orang utan that was awarded singapore tourist ambassador's award. Ah meng is actually a female. Why is she named Ah Meng. So the .... ><"

There were many many other animals actually, including white tiger, hippo, rhino and all but I lazy wanna upload the pics liao. The last animal we went to visit was the Kangaroo! It was my first time again seeing one. LOL

Jennifer and I.

Wee hock and Cy.

We were so so so tired after that. So, we didn't go night safari. Actually, we bought the 3 in 1 park hoppers tickets at $40, which includes admission to Zoo, Night Safari and Bird Park. Looks like, this entire month, I will be seeing animals a lot~ Hehehehe

================

Wondered why I was still awake at 530 am just now???? Cy and I went Macdonald at Pioneer Mall (about 20 minutes walk from NTU) to catch the live match of EURO final 2008. Spain VS Germany. Hmmm... I felt so hungry and I had chicken foldover and hot milo. *I am turning fat!* Anyway, it was super crowded with people until we had no table to eat at all. Luckily we manage to get 2 chairs to sit. People who came about 5 minutes later than us had to stand thro' out the match. Spain won with a 1-0 score line and everyone cheered so loudly when spain scored! *sucks* I was hoping Germany to win....

Walked back to hall and sleep until 10 am. Got awaken by nature call. I think I ate too much for my stomach to store liao! LOL

Its 5.20 am now.. and I am still awake!

Weekend... finally

It's finally weekend! I have been looking forward this. The special semester and resumed work with Dr Cha were very hectic. I wake up as early as 9am every day to do readings in the library. Worse of all, the lecture!!! :( He was so picky yesterday during tutorial presentation. He actually mind when people forget or didnt number their slide. He gave me the second thought of SU-ing the subject. Haizz.. see how lar.. my presentation is next week.. Wish me luck~ LOL.. Oh just to let u all know how much I have been looking forward for this weekend... I woke up last Thursday from my nap ANGRILY... that's because I thought it was friday and when I realise the cruel truth, I got so pek chek and almost cried! Hahaha.. silly~ But I was really damn tired! Okay... Plans for the weekend:
1) Sakae Buffet
2) Watching EURO final in MacD at 230 am
3) Bird Park with Wee Hock and Jen.

MP8085 History of Great Invention.
That's the module Im taking this special semester. Hmmm... It's interesting but the lecturer is seriously one of a kind. He is like so obsessed with time. He time himself in everything he does. He will come earlier to make sure that he start ON TIME. Then, he gets annoyed when students come late. Today, Xian was late for 2 minutes... the lecturer said, "Pls come and look for me during the break". Of course, there are many others who came later than her.... After a while, he will take his break. He will sternly announce how long will be the break and mention the time he will resume. Haha.. Today, he kind able to end his lecturer about 1 minutes earlier but he didn't let us go 1 minute earlier. He just needed to finish on time. Hahaha.. So, he kinda crap until 530 SHARP!!! *faint* Weird man... Maybe he will be so distressed for the rest of the night if he didn't end his class on time! Bleah....

Things aren't the same..

That's life... People usually say that when things arent the same... Yes, that's very true. But sometimes even insignificant difference make a difference. I have been in NTU for almost 2 full years already. Sometimes, questions popped up in my mind. Have I ever regretted my decision that time? Did I really gave it a deep thought that time to come or not? Haven't really got the answers till today but I can safely say I am happy to be here but at the same time who knows I might also be equally or more happy if I had chosen another path... that is to remain in Msia. I believe every decisions have their own advantages as well as their own sacrifices. My biggest sacrifice here is that I left my home... I moved out of the protection zone, out of the comfort zone beneath my family, and out of the familiar lil town, mlk. :)

2 years in NTU was absolutely not easy. Every day seems like a challenge. Problems are always there but once solved, they are gone... but happy things are many if we ever bother to notice them. 2 years here means I have known Manics for 2 years too. Still remain vivid was the very first tutorial oh HW 101, I sat beside Ting and started introucing myself. LOL That was a lil silly. Then, xian was the second I met. Here comes stephie, hurried into the class late with her orange cardigan and orange spec. I have no idea why I noticed her and in fact, I found her rather funny... skinny girl with orange preferance... :P And the rest of the other Manics... I'm glad I meet you girls...

At the beginning, things are like so strange hur, then we became good friends. I have to admit that I am happy to know you girls here... Or else, my undergrad years will be so sienz. :) Or else maybe I'll join the laptop group... or BOB... erm... shall not think more! (BOB came into mind because I met him just now! He is always in school... )

Those memories are gonne be forever in my head. We need to plan more outings and trips. Malacca was first then Redang. But make sure those that didnt join the first 2, pls join the third one! :P So looking forward for it... :)

Just finish chating for 30 minutes with Cy's ex-roomie. He is one of the best roomie i ever met. Haha.. So nice of him to allow me squatting in their room for almost the entire semester last year. Now Cy is moving out to single room. A lil bu se de.

Even NTU have not been the same anymore... With the taken for granted Canteen A closed down, I started to miss it. The new food connection is so smelly! I miss the 50 cents coffee too!! Singaporeans are too efficiency. When they say they will tear down and shift.... they do it so fast... *faint*

The previous canteen A crowded with people...

New canteen. More variety but more Ex...!

What's up in the coming days in NTU? I still have another 2 years before I graduate. In the short run, still aiming to excel in my studies, more exercises to keep fit LOL, and life my life to the fullest! :P In the long run, *no idea yet* :P

==============

Oh, food update... I finally found Ah Chew thong sui house in Bugis. Erm, it was crowded as expected since its famous but the thong sui was so so... above average only.. One thing special is that they have nice ambience for thong sui and so much variety! :)

Grass Jelly with Mango

Peanut.. My fave~

And even though life hafta go on.. I still miss my holidays... :(

Started...

I am still slacking despite the fact that my special semester had already started. History of Great Inventions... that is the module that I will be taking this time. Hmmm, having missed 2 lessons due to Redang trips was a lil disadvantage. Xian sms-ed me and told that the lecturer actually take attendance. Haiz... Bad feeling that this lecturer gonna me mean! Booo... And when I check on edventure, her tutorial assignments are so scary! Gosh... I begin to freak out! Yet, I ran away from the truth that I need... I need too get started! :P I have been lazing around in hall... watching movies and TVB drama (forensic heroes 2), swimming, DOTA, eating, sleeping... nothing very productive...
Oh... Kung Fu Panda was hilarious... I like that Master Wu Kui... " Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery but today is a gift... that is why its called present..." Upon hearing that, Cy and I gave each other a WHOA look... *impressed* That's really sweet isn't it... It means that we receive gift each and everyday... so be happy! LOL
Guess what... I am blogging in Library right now at 10am on a Monday morning. How sad. Many are still in bed under their cozy blanket! But.... I know.. I need to get STARTED... stop typing!
~I still miss REDANG~

I'm BACK!

Last Sunday, Chee Hui, Qi, Xian, SS, CY and I went for holidays in Redang. We met at Kranji MRT station at 830 to catch the bus in Larkin at 10pm. The massive jam at the causeway is seriously crazy, forcing us to walk from Kranji to Woodlands Checkpoint! Hah, so weird lar the feeling like running away from some threat like that. Felt like refugee! Wluekkkk

Finally, we manage to reach Larking on time but guess what, the bus that we hurried for was stuck in that cause way jam too! Perhaps, we walked pass the bus we were suppose to board.. LOL We waited 1 hour for that not-punctual bus! *sigh*
Started our journey at 11pm and reached Kuala Terengganu at about 7 plus.
In the ferry we board from Merang Jetty to our destination.. REDANG!! :P

The ferry

Despite the tiring and hectic journey, all the freezing cold torture through out the night ride was worth while!!! Look at the beautiful beach!!! Awesome...

The room. Laguna Beach Resort was seriously super cool. Their treatment, service, facilities were 5 stars!!

We had pool view rooms

The beach again... I love it..

The More More Tes Inn.. Actually, its a convenient store, selling ice creams, some souvenirs, slippers, swim wear, goggles and stuff lar...

Its SNORKELLING TIME... I was afraid at first, worried that I might get drown... LOL But the crystal clear water makes the worries all away!

I know I look ridiculous with the goggles.. but without it, the super salty sea water will blind me!

Cy
All of us in the water!!! The marine park was filled with so so so many different kinds of fishes... they are so colorful and differ in size. Cy and I spotted one monstery looking fish, with one huge tooth at the bottm front of its mouth, then with some more tiny lil teeth around it... It came and snatch away out bread while we were feeding the other cuter looking fishes.. LOL
I finally saw NEMO and DORY in person.. hahaha

Some photos taken at night...

The More More Tes Inn again... this is really an attraction. Laguna actually play the More more tea movie again and again for 24 hours in the hotel rooms... Kinda weird lar.. we were at where the movie was filmed...

Some chill-out at the cafe during the last night in Redang. Qi and Chee Hui didnt join us cause Chee hui fell asleep!

Beers...

Taken outside the restaurant. The buffet meals was delicious. So much of variety...LOL

byebye laguna redang... We will definitely go back again in years to come... :)

After Redang, Laguna resort actually bothered to send us to Chinatown in Kuala Terengganu for lunch and some shoppings... see I told ya, their service is really good!

Okay, I better get some rest... as Im typing, I feel my body like moving ups and downs, just like in the boat... too much of boat rides I guess...

*smile*

Happy father's day...

Fathers' Day is this coming Sunday. With my two sister being extremely busy with their major examination coming soon, we can't really go out for dinner. Hah... Looking down at cooking.. I volunteered to prepare dinner for the family. Boo.. I have to confess that cooking isn't easy. Luckily, my younger sis helped out but her pasta ended up quite bad... :P But, her mushroom soup was satisfactory. The garlic bread was actually quite hard! Bleah... But my fish&chip was okay. :P

Nice mar... the deco that i did! :P

The whole meal...

Happy Father's Day once again...

Tmr, can 5 uncle and aunty will be coming tomorrow to visit malacca. Their main purpose is to EAT!! Gosh, I wonder how many KGs will I be putting on! Hopefully I dun look very fat and ugly in my bikini when Im in Redang this coming Monday! Booo...

Here it comes again...

I feel the same each year when July is approaching. The 3 months summer holidays is like ending so quickly. After the release of examination result (my result for this semester was ok and the good news is I maintain my cGPA), registration of subjects for the coming semester make me feel so distressed. I hate to admit that I dislike schooling!! T_T My heart beat naturally fasten as though I am gonna get a heart attack as I scroll the page to see which subject to choose. Eh, plz do not think Im overly paranoid... Choosing the right module is so important as it determine weather I suffer or enjoy the entire semester... :P The consequences of choosing the wrong one can be very very very devastating!!! Haizz... *choked*.... I need more air... *gasp* hehehe...

When, I have decided to take Applied Stat, Psychological adjustment and mental health, and Issues and concern in Adolescence, guess what... dunno which bright person arrange both examination date and time for pysch adj &mental health and Issues and concern in adolescence to be the same... *faint*

And... I am in lost of words when the examination dates are all so sucky... all just one day after another... OMG... We are so re-living year 2 sem 1... T_T

3 July 2008 will be the day.. I shall wait until I meet Manic to discuss which slots to take...

Well, now only did I realise that time is seriously flying as Im too slow to notice. I have been in NTU for 2 years now. Gonna step into my third year of undergradute studies. So many things happened... Gain so many new experiences and went thro so many ups and downs... There are another 2 years more before graduating, but I am so looking forward in furthering my studies... yay... My mom say I m gonna be old when I finally wanna call out for a STOP from studying.. but what I do best is that... so I shall not stop... Hah!

another photo-less post...

Yesterday, my sisters and I had the worst experience ever.... There was a no-warning water rationing... So, our plan to cook bolognese for dinner didn't work out.. Hence, we went for dinner. Yep, that should be no problem at all. Haha.. But I am only left with RM15. Younger sister only had RM1!! Fine... we drove to wan tan mee stall near tun tuah... We counted every cost, before we ordered... In the end, due to the budget contraint, we had the most not-satisfied chicken wing meal!! Hahaha.. each of us had a plate of wan tan mee and only one chicken wing! T_T... With no more extra cash, we shared one bali.

Then, when we reached home, my Kakak told us, there is no more water left for us to bath!!!! *faint* We walked to the nearest water vending machine with empty bottles to buy water for washing our face and brushing teeth.. LOL So stupid lar, why didn't it came to our mind that if house area had no water supply, that machine also will not have...!!! haiz...

What a day... we slept without bathing... yucks. so dirty and pathetic! wluekkk
and all that only happened within a day ler... can you imagine people living in this kind of environment.. no water, no money, not enough food....
With the increase in petrol price from RM1.92 to RM2.70, everything else are increasing, from electricity, water to rice, flour and many other!!... in fact, its everything except for my parents' salary~ Booooo....

So, right now, my family decided on a mission to cut cost due to the economy... bad hor... We have to cut down on air-cond usage, cut down on baking to save electricity, reduce number of trips we make with cars,... LOL

My dad said, " You all very crazy... after one week, you all sure forget one.."

I, personally feel so too ... :)

I'm too bored...

I know I just blogged yesterday, but Im too bored at home... Actually, I am overly occupied but at the same time, living my life super actively! :)

I got sa bo-ed by my ah gong... Brought him for check-up in Southern Hospital yesterday, but the doctor was absent! It was suppose to be semi-private hospital, charging patients more and more expansive each day... still the efficiency is totally hopeless. They made the appointment with us, yet didn't even bother to give us a call when the doctor was on leave... $#^%(# Worse still, the nurse had his bf with her at clinic chit-chating... ><" I woke up at 8am... but got peng seh by the doctor... so stupid...

Today, I brought my ah gong for another check-up in the district clinic, again this time, our visit ended without consultation from the doctor. The doctor was present, but my blur ah gong see the date wrongly.. goshhh I woke up at 7.45am for ntg.. Boooo T_T

After watching a few episode of er zhuo ju part 2, I baked cookies. Mocha and cashew cookies.. ... Delicious.. :) Then, I felt so guilty after eating so much of cookies, I washed the car. LOL eat burn eat burn.. that's life... :)

I am dirty and smelly right now.. perhaps, I should walk 1 km on the thread mill before bathing and prepare for Indiana Jones tonight...

*smilez*

I am home...

I am home since last Sunday. Cy and I travelled to JB so that we can tumpang my dad's car back to Mlk. Hehe... We stopped by City Square (a shopping complex in JB) for SECRET RECIPE!!! Wooo Hooo.. I had my favourite chocolate mud.... *yummy*

After that, Dad brought us to Kukup for seafood.. I never been to Kukup but the place was not very pleasant. Its a small fisherman village, with houses on the sea supported only by a few big wood. They don't look very strong to me... :P And of course, I am sure many of you know Kukup's style of toilet. LOL Everyone just contribute something to the sea each day... Haha... and the seafood... :P I just take that thought of my mind temporary when I had the crab and fish...

I baked again yesterday night with my sister's help. Banana cake again... my gosh, the cake diminish in hours time! Can't even survive till today! :P

Cy is now on his way to Penang & KL trip with his parents today. So, he will be away for 5 days... I shall occupy myself with taiwan drama... er zhuo chu zi wen 2 (paiseh for the inaccurate pin yin)...

p/s: Xian, if you haven't buy the CDs, let me know, maybe I can bring it in for you... :P

Looks like I am out for too many eating outings... Its time to visit the gym... :)
*chaoz*

Another fun outing...

Went out for a double date with Wee Hock and Jen. Well, I didn't really mention about them before. Actually, Wee Hock is Cy's coursemate and of course Jennifer is his gf. muahaha but she is not a NTU student. :)

Yesterday, we went for Korean food at a foodcourt near Plaza Sing. It was really a big portion!
My food... Some spicy chicken... I ate everything myself.. EVERYTHING, including that bowl of rice. So, don't you all say I am like stick ok! Wluekkk...:P

Cy's tender beef. I think its quite nice.

After dinner, we went Cineleisure for Wii game. Wow, I didnt expect it to be so interactive and realistic. I must say that its fun. We played bowling, boxing, mario, shooting, baseball... fun fun fun...

Cy and I playing the boxing game...

Bowling.. I was the top scorer!! LOL

Boxing...

Wee Hock and Jen

Us, playing the shooting..

Shotting game again... so much of concentration needed for this man... LOL

It was 1130pm when we ended playing Wii. No more train from town, we took BUS back to Jurong.. Haha The direct bus was much faster than train. :)

*happy*

============

In few hours time, CY and I will be heading back home.. Yep, its time to put on more KGsss.. LOL
