Back in NTU

Reached Sg after 4 hours of bus ride just now. :) Went to Bugis to meet Cy up for duck rice and then movie. There are not many choices in the cinema though, as we already watched batman, hancock and red cliff, so we decided to watch Wedding Daze. Quite a funny but unrealistic movie! LOL. Would you marry a stranger? That's not a very easy question. By right, rationally we should not marry a stranger as we dunno that person well. On the other hand, who knows that this is the right person! And we will have life time to get to know him or her. Right? But, the gist of the movie is about this lar.... and the conclusion is strangers do get married! That is some what similar to what olden society practices right... marriage arrangement by parents...

Yesterday, I did the most Aunty-ish thing ever! Joined my mum for her line dance practise. Hmmm, I was obviously the youngest. Everyone was like above 35!!! Quite paiseh initially. Then, it became quite fun. Remind me of the camp fire where we will dance chili cha cha... and all~ :) Hopefully, my mum will continue cause she always quit half way one! Haizzz...

School starting next Monday. 5 more days of holiday. T_T

Back in Melaka..

I am again, back at home! 3 months of holidays is really really really coming to an end! This time will be my last time coming back before the school starts! Then, when the real semester starts, I can see how the entire cycle gonna repeat! Definitely, I still look forward for it to begin as there are many other fun besides studying and going for lessons. LOL One thing that I need to really struggle for is there should be less DOTA! Cy and I have been playing DOTA together, side by side which brought us a lot a lot of fun. :)

Oh, I just went for a movie with my family. Red Cliff. It was in fact, an interesting movie! Takeshi and Tony Leong are very funny and cute in the movie. :) But it ended very very very abruptly! Dr Cha said that he felt so cheated at the end of it... LOL So, I shall wait for part 2 because its really nice~ :)

I gtg liao, as Cy called! So weird talking on the phone with him though... as we don't back in NTU.

It's over~ :)

Special semester's examination is finally over. Its holiday once again! LOL... Before the real semester starts, we have another 1 week and a half to slack and relax! :) After the paper today, I went raffles' place star bucks for Psychology Society election commitee meeting. I am the financial controller, a position which I think there is nothing much to do! LOL....

After the meeting, met Cy, WeeHock and Jennifer for dinner at Astons! Its a nice dining place as the food was good and cheap! Only $6.50 for the entire set~ :)

Cy's teriyaki chicken.

My Chargrill chicken... I love the coleslaw~

After the dinner, we watched The Dark Knight at the cathay. It was my first time at that cinema. It was quite nice though I still prefer cine~ :P

The movie was more than 2 hours long. Many people said that it was very good, but maybe due to higher expectation, I didnt really enjoyed the movie. Perhaps, I had my very own expectations from superhero movies. I like the hero to be more glamourous with more heroic scence. Batman, did not really showed he had the power. He got bitten by the dog le... Haizzz

And the joker. He is actually very disturbing.... But anyway, he died after the movie due to over dosage of medication. Maybe he was too obsessed with the character of Joker that he got into depression, according to wikipedia~ Quite sad....

Had prata and hot mile just now for supper... Prata is getting more and more expensive! $0.80 for one piece! Inflations.... sucks!

Going home tomorrow

Movie marathon

Despite the fact that my special semester final exam is tomorrow, Cy and I were like on movie marathon since last Saturday. One movie a day! We started with quite a comedy movie, Superhero movie. Not that bad for an expected to be a dumb movie. At least, they had the plots plotted quite okay~ :)
Next, on Sunday we watched Nim's Island.
I like this movie. Comedy plus adventure makes it very interesting. But, its a lil lengthy~

Yesterday night, we decided to make banana split. :) Then, we started watching Fool's Gold.

Not too bad too. Its a bout tresure hunting plus some love story. :)

updatez~

Actually, I am in the library with the plan to study SMART but not HARD for the coming special semester paper this Wednesday! Study SMART not HARD because I am only left with 2 days to the real exam day! Gosh, five weeks, is definitely zooming by yet, I feel I am still stoning. I am glad that it ended though cause I feel that the lecture is quite boring and time consuming! LOL Hopefully, I will do well this time.... and I can't wait for it to get over. Got plans on Wed night and going home the day after that. It will be the last time I am going home before the real semester starts! So fast.....

Holiday-ed for 3 months! I must say its again another fun-filled and enjoyable holiday! Its important to review sometimes because not every year we get this 3 months break to do things we want to do. We always say "next-time-lar", and things never never get done! It will be a regret though when the day comes and we are left with just the few minutes... Too many things to do, yet so little time! Pity~ Perhaps, amnesia at old age is new means to reduce more regrets. LOL If we don't remember what we have not done but wanted to, then we will 'thought' we actually did it! hahaha.... *crappy*

Many freshmen orientation camps (FOC) are going on. School camps, Malaysian camps, Hall camps.... When I see those blur blur freshies came today, I get a pinch of how they feel. This university so big and everything else so strange... Moreover, why so many seniors taking care of everything? In short, I felt lost... and I am sure they do too! Now, I am already going on Year 3!!! So old.... :(

Cy also attended his school camp last week and he was one of the ghost on the fright night. If I remember I will post his pic up. So scary..... His face was half red and half white! Hopefully, tonight I can sneak off my notes for a while and join the freshies for a while. :)

tired~

Been busy with helping Cy to shift from Hall 5 to Hall 13. Gosh, I must say he got a lot a lot a lot of things. We need to go so many rounds of to and back with shutter bus. Luckily BengKim helped out, or else, I cannot imagine how many extra rounds we need to make. Today was the final move. Cy hired a van (come together with the helper lar) which cost him $35 per hour. So, we make sure that we only make one trip in the entire 1 hour! Most importantly was his fridge, fan, and chair.
Now, we are in the new hall, new area, new room, new environment, new people, new canteen, and new toilets. :P

With all the hours of cleaning and unpacking, finally the room now is so neat and comfortable.

*smilez*

new but old~

This is a very special watch that I had. Actually, I forgotten about it until Cy and I went to survey watches for Yammie as present. Then, we realise that, 'oh ya hor' I also had one swatch! LOL It was no wonder that we had long forgotten about it because it was about 6 years ago! How long is that man.... when I was only 16 years old, he gave me as a birthday present. :) Gosh, upon looking at the warranty card and all, it was dated 09/08/2002. I feel so freaking old... T_T

We saw the exact same one! Just that, mine was a little old and yellowish looking. LOL The salesgirl said that we can change the strips for only $16!

So now, my old and yellowish sentimental watch has a new look. Its like having a swatch with only $16. LOL

*happy*

what a weekend...

11th July: Cy and I went to celebrate our yearly anniversary! :) It wasn't the initial plan actually but it turn out to be extremely fun! We went to Orchard for dinner at SUN! I just love the place!! Cy and I outside SUN. We waited patiently and hungrily for 1 hour! But the wait was extremely worth while! LOL

Its a rice thingy. I can't remember its name. Apparently, we are only suppose to open it when the sand all finish and drop to the btm of the clock. :) It was yummy!

The rainbow roll. Actually, it was so-so only. We ordered this because we wanted to try some sushis...

Ohhh this was one of the best I ever had. The meat ball was simply delicious... :)

Felt quite bad for eating this though but it was delicious actually. The belly of this tiny fish contains all its egg, I suppose~ LOL *bad bad bad* :P

Oh... this was BEST!!! The tofu cheese cake. But I have no idea why it was initially served with a cage. LOL

Satisfied~

After the meal, we went for a walk around orchard until about 1.05 for HANCOCK. It was quite a funny movie but a lil Kua Chang... We finished the movie at about 3 plus and we walk and walk around Orchard. It feels so weird to see Orchard street without the crowd! And the road, so many taxis... and only taxis!!

We had porridge at Xin Wang HK cafe at about 4 plus I think... Hahaha

We waited and waited until the mrt station open at 5.40am. Went back to NTU with the first train! *shacked* Slept at about 8 am till 3pm. Then, we hurried to NTUC to get cakes for the birthday people (yam, jy & JY)... hahaha :P

==================
12th July: BBQ at meimei's house. It was a weird bbq because there was no need to start fire with whatever charcoal, lighter and fire starter.. hehehe It was more to grilling with gas stove ba~ LOL

Jy and HH

All manic except for Qi. Aiya, I forgot to request for another pic when she came. So long Manic din all turn up liao! :)

Yam, Ting and Xian.

The birthday people... and I wish to repeat: Yam, jy and & JY! :)

Everyone.... The bbq was fun. Keep eating, talking, laughing and in the end played some games~

====================
13th July: Bird park and Night Safari Day.
Wee Hock, Jen, Cy and I continue with our park hopper's tickets. We meet at boon lay mrt station at 830am.
Parrot paradise. So many parrots until we also lazy wanna walk everything to see all of them. But I must mention that they are really colourful! :)

Feeding the lofty bird was fun! They are like so close to me! However, they can be quite dangerous cause to them, toilets are everywhere! Hehehe Cy kena their .... LOLx

The tam chiak bird. It follow even though Cy lifted up the cup.

Happily caged~

Dino and his descendant! LOL

Owl. So cute right? All owls are kept in this place named The World of Darkness. :)

We walked until super the tired in the bird park until about 4pm! Then, we went back to NTU for lunch+dinner. Had the yummy Dolsot Bibimbab from canteen 13! Eh, increase price liao, now tis $4.50. So ex!!!!

At 630pm, we took a cab to Night Safari. It was awesome but not much photos taken cause they do not allow us to use flash and its so dark. So, basically, we can't really get any photos. The flying squirrels were very very adorable. We waited and waited until they finally jumped and glided with their opened skin... Cute~ And the free ranging bats are so so scary. Dun like bats... Other animals were also interesting.... :) *happy*

The end of my weekend! Things to focus next is STUDY STUDY STUDY!

Packed weekend...

I had a busy weekend last week. Gosh, from friday to sunday (11th till 13th July), I was terribly packed! Now, I need to get back to work (Exam coming soon!) ! So, shall update asap ya! :P

Home....

Came back home last Friday immediately after my presentation. Presentation was good, we managed to answer all his questions though but as usual, he is always so picky. The layout that we chose just for normal background also, he got so much comment! Lesson to be learn: plain layout! :P

Cy and I got hooked in a massive human jam on that friday evening, together with many many other Malaysian. I think they should be all malaysian unless those Singaporeans who are totally noob to choose that hour to go Malaysia. LOL Hmmm, obviously, we didn't manage to get there in time for our booked tickets! Luckily, they still have one more last bus to Malacca at 8.15. Unluckily, its not really a legal bus, and they charge double of the usual price, and the condition is really bad, and the bus only left Johor at 9pm!, and last but not least the bus stopped for whatever supper break for almost 30 minutes! Arghhhhhhhh I felt so cheated but helpless at the same time. Security is a very very important for any citizen in a country, but I have no idea since when I begin doubt it here! :( I am sure many people feel this recently... *no political issue!*

Alright, finally reached home at about 12.30 that night. Sister wanted to go out for supper. I think her primary reason was to drive! So, off we went for the nearest mamak. Guess what, when we reached she exclaimed, " SHIT, I didnt wear slipper!". *faint* She is an idiot. LOL In the end, we ta pau and went home to eat. :P

Oh, last Monday was such a pampering day. I had pedicure in the morning. It was damn cheap... RM 30, and it was not express pedicure le! They scrub and cut off all the dead skin! Yay! So nice.... Next, went for Facial with sis. Hmmm... it was suppose to be enjoyable and relaxing until the beautician started telling us ghost story! LOL.. then, I went for a hair-cut... Hmmm, now I have super short fringe again...

I was suppose to go back to NTU yesterday with the ealier bus to Sg at 7.30 am. But once I got bup from bed at 7am, I felt dizzy and wanna vomit! Haizz, so sucky... had food poisoning and I laid down in the bed from morning till evening. Can die!!! I am feeling much better after medications. Hopefully, I can get well asap and get back to NTU tmr! Gosh... I haven't been doing any readings... :(

Busy busy busy...

It had been super hectic and busy for me ever since the "special" semester had started. I need to get up almost everyday at 9 am on average! Gosh, lessons was not fun due to the mean lecturer. Besides lots of readings from Dr Cha., currently we are moving on to the next phase of the project. We are suppose to analyse the datas and see if we can find anything significant or anything interesting... Hmmmm So, I was quite messed up with SPSS (a computer software used for statistical tests). My memory failed me terribly. I couldn't remember what's the use of each test, mix up the variables, mix up the procedures... in short, I dunno how to use SPSS. But, I can tell you. Dr. Cha is seriously a nice nice nice man... so patient in guiding me how to use it, helping me to recall what's the use of each test and what's the purpose! :) And, after meeting with him, I had to attend lecture! Thank goodness the new lecturer was actually quite nice... :)

Apart from school, Han Yang came to Singapore yesterday. So, Cy and I brought him around... We went...

Bugis
Walked around bugis street, Sim Lim square and bugis junction.

Vivo City
He was kinda amazed with DAISO, which sells so many variety of things at only $2. The stuff here are really not bad.

Chinatown
It was my first time trying the ala carte in Annalaksmi. It was so so delicious. At that moment, we almost forgot it was vegetarian. Hahaha...

Clarke Quay
Went for a walk there... Han yang was very surprised with the Clinic in which the pub had a hospital theme. Customers either sit on the wheel chair or on the bed... quite cool but kinda sick lar~ The ang mo there started playing with the wheel chair and bang into each other... ><"
We had a drink at the CUBA pub. It was ok, but the music was loud so I didn't really like it...

Right now, I am totally exhausted but there are so many things to do!
Prepare for tmr's presentation
laundry
pack as Im going home tmr!
*tired*
