superb~

Today is such a good day and I hope the luck that is with me right now will follow me forever. :) Sometimes, I realise that luck plays damn important role in everything! No matter how hard you try or how much time and effort was spent on getting the goal, with out, you just feel like killing some one. And funny is, even though you did not do a single thing, things just comes into your life, for entirely FREE~ That's how that little but important thing can make a difference! :)

Firstly, when I woke up, I emailed C to ask the outcome of the attachment, and then she replied so quickly within 5 minutes and said I GOT IT! So happy... one thing out of my mind.. :)

Then, met Aug for lesson and the lecturer asked who can help the class by volunteering to photocopy the textbooks. Aug volunteered for the first book, then the other guy from the back row volunteer the second book, and when he asked for the volunteer for the third book, I volunteered! Haha... anyway, I will still accompany Aug to photocopy so might as well lo. Plus, its only ONE chapter from the book. Then, the lecturer said since I volunteered, I can keep the book. *faint* Thanked him... (btw Jane, its Yap, M. ) LOL

alright, then Aug was so nice to bring bout like 4 books of fullscap paper because he knows I usually spent to buy them. He even gave me a notebook. :) Yay, then no need to waste money buying them. *smiles*

Went to the pool to swim. One the way there, it was quite cloudy and gloomy. Was hoping that it won't rain! The cloud was really big and black already. But heng, once I stepped into the pool compound, it was sunny again! haha... fun.

Alright, hopefully I can continue to be this happy ya. Going back tonight. CNY is gonna be great. HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!!

completely random

I just finish swimming. Swimming is good as it takes whatever out of my mind. Even though its temporary, but I enjoy the peace each time I dip my head beneath the water. Especially with the sun shinning through, the glimpse of light piercing the water was great. :)

Had to start working on my first paper this semester. I need to get it done before I head home this Friday. Sg CNY official holiday is only 2 days but I am going to declare my own holiday for the entire week. I want to do so but yet, I know exactly how many lessons I am not attending plus all the participation marks. bleah~

Nevertheless, I still can't wait for CNY. Its time again to meet everyone. Baking sessions, reunion sessions, gambling sessions, chit chat sessions, .... can't wait. Yet, I could anticipate the feeling of lost after the festival. You know... tat kind of BACK TO REALITY.... sigh~


Anyway, I went for an interview yesterday for attachment. I never felt so intense and apprehension. Choked le... Haiz. Couldn't imagine the day I am going for a real job interview. Rejections is always not easy to face but I need to learn, in life, there ain't always acceptance. *cross finger* I really hope they could kindly accept me and bear. :)

Oooo... another random thing. Gem Of Life is getting so exciting. I cannot believe that Elise is so wicked! Poor Will and ah Wo. Its a complicated drama.... :)

Ok. I shall stop babbling random stuff. Need to get ready to go JP. Pedicure and Hair cut. :)

outing with the malaccan

People say its not the place nor what we do matters, its the gathering and the people who are there. That's exactly how I feel, also Cy about yesterday's outing to Settler.

First of all, need to thank bengkim, the main organizer of the night. I think all the malaccans had fun. People present, Beng and Irene, Jand and GL (the only non-malaccan), Daphne, Elaine, Jeeva and Damian.

It has been a while since the malaccans gathered. :) Its fun to have such gathering and of course its often rare and difficult to put everyone together.

CNY is coming and it should be week 4 that week. However, I will pon all the lectures and tutorials for that week, which is actually not a very good thing as all my packed days are Wed and Thurs. Hmmm, R is the best because he gives us a break! Bleah... I wonder why F didnt, he should be the one who fancy such big day.

Anyway, things are still pretty unsure. I am still contemplating between 2 electives (Organizational communication or Media in America). Both the lecturers are/were journalists, so I am so afraid being graded by them. *intimidated*

On 13th Jan, Cy and I went Annalaksmi for dinner for 6 years and 7 months anniversary. LOL. That place is one of my favaurite dining place as we are free to pay the amount that we are comfortable with. So, we paid $15. I had my poori, which was huge and good!

Another funny thing which we discovered was that brocolli in Sg is super cheap! $.65 only! Gosh, so we had already bought 2-3 of it. LOL And made some salad with it. Yummy~

Its 2009, can you believe it. Its like 23 years after 1986, the year of tiger when most of us were born. And without realising, I am really a few years in my adulthood. Didnt really feel that much changes but I know things changed. bleah...

Anyway, daphne is in Singapore now! I could not remember when was the last time we actually celebrated her birthday. 4 yrs ago? But she is my primary school friend and will be in my longest-known friend list. :)

Really glad that you are in Sg, daph. :) Happy Birthday once again.

Cy and I bought new hp today. He bought samsung Omnia and I chose F480. Both the phones are very cool, touch-screen, 5 mp camera, big screen... :)

Tmr is the beginning of week 2. I hope CNY will come faster so that I can go home and enjoy before starting the semester seriously. hehe

First day of class

Finally, I stopped my slacking days at 930am this morning. Began the new semester with Stat Lab, which the lesson was kinda dry and boring. But I think, Ringo is always that good and passionate in teaching. :)

After the lesson, went JP with Ting, Xian and Jieyang to buy Meimei's birthday present. :) We hang around Charles & Keith for almost an hour just to make sure we get what Meimei wanted yet, after much of descriptions between Xian and Jy over the phone and several MMS sent by Ting, we still failed to get the correct one! LOL. Later, we also get her a very sweet pearl necklace from Chomel.

In the end, we were late for out lesson, Trauma Psych. Well, I really like Fred. He is so funny and can really talk non-stop! 3 hours of lesson without break. :P *tired*

Readings have already started accumulating but I think there are still no reading materials ready. Shall start getting them asap.

Dinner at Din Tai Fung was so-so. Expected much better food from them. Even crystal jade which never my fav was better. Haha. But I still feel their Yam paste and Red bean paste xiao long bao were special. :)

Tmr will be the first WSC session for this semester. Wonder how are the boys now. :)

getting started..

Its not easy to start all over again. I guess I am feeling a little tired of the repetitive cycles: Beginning of semester, reports, projects, group meetings, tutorials, lectures, study, exam, results. People say university life is the best, I think its partly true because the only fun part is the holidays after exam. However, the rountine is seriously crazy and driving me nuts.

Well, I think those who are working is worse. They lives are even more routine and worse still, they are resposible to their employers and always susceptible to workplace competition. So, again, dilemma. Study better or working? Hmmm... not doing anything is the best right. LOL

I am quite confused and stressed over my time table. When its not settled, I cannot continue to what I want to do next! Sucks... I hate uncertainty. Pretty sure that I am taking trauma psychology. The thought of taking 2 lab modules is freaking me out as its like 2 mini FYP. :( But the good side is, there is no exam for lab modules! *so irritating*

Attachment is another major headache! What if I cannot get any. CAO just declined my intern with NIE. Wth right. I have no idea what's her problem. NIE ain't any organization. :( Sucks. Now, need to own source somemore. *feel like giving up*

Hopefully, I am just over reacting. *gasp* Everything need to settle down. And shall happily welcome the new lunar year. :P

Before school reopens...

School starts officially today but there is no lesson today for me. Woke up a while ago, and start staring that the com for subject registration. I hate the time table this sem. :( Everything still seems very much unsettled. Haiz

Anyway, Cy and I went camping at ECP last weeked. Wanted to do this for very long already but always there is no time and no chance. We were lucky that the weather was good. :)

The bicycles we rented for the entire night only at $5 each le! Super cheap right. From 630pm till 9am.

Saw this huge sand castle along the way. Not bad har... Maybe can try to build next time. :)

And the next day, we woke up bout 8. Too late for sun rise. LOL but had macdonald's breakfast. haha...

Reached NTU bout 12pm. rested a while in hall before heading to IMM for shopping! :) Oh, and that IMM ceased their shuttle bus service from Jurong point le. So sad right. Now, need to take train there already. Haizzz

But shopping in IMM was crazy. Cy and I bought so many things.

okay. school starts and I need to study!!! *must remember that*

Month of Dec..

I am back in NTU. I enjoy the fast internet connection here but I miss my home badly. I miss the home cooked food, the convenience of driving to where ever I want to, my attached bathroom, TV, my threadmill, and of course my family. :)

And my family went for photo shooting in MP. Its only RM60 for the photo shoot. It includes make-up for all of us except for my dad, a free photo frame, and 2 6R photos.

And Dino came back one of the weekend on 13th December. Had dinner at Kampachi. The japanese buffet was good but the variety still loose to that in Kuishinbo. :)

Christmas was a blast! My sis and I planned a family dinner. We prepared so much for it. Made chicken pie, baked mixed fruit cake, some cookies, salad, bought turkey and braised duck for the main and last but not least vanilla ice cream + sago for dessert. :)

After Christmas, went up to KL with Cy, Weehock and Jen. As I mentioned, the trip was fun fun fun. :)

Feel a lil lethargic after all the happenings back in Malacca. Now, I am gonna look forward for Chinese New Year. Can't wait for all the ang paus, gathering sessions, mah jongs, and of course wearing all my CNY clothes! hehe
