Holiday

Today is a public hol in SG.. Happy Vesak Day! hehe..

Good news: No need to attend lecture and more time to slack in the room!

Bad news: stranded in the room to study fot next week's quiz! Worse still, library close! Swmming pool also close! Haizz.. :(

I am tired but happy.. :)

Ooo.. today, I had a long long day and of course its a happy day again.! :)

1) Firstly, I got up so early to meet up with my prof to get the experiment's material. And so happy today is the last day of data collection! That also means that i dun need to get up so early la! hehee.. Wanna see my work place?? Its actually Psychology IT lab..


2) Secondly, as planned since last week, Cy and I went to town since its GSS (grand Singapore Sale).. However, I have no $$.. hence, i didnt buy anything! haizz.. But I still manage to get a present for a fren of mine.. I almost got color blind when I am looking for it, hehe... cant tell what is it yet until her bd! :P

3) Then, of course, eating can never be out of the event in any day!! hehee.. We live to eat or eat to live arr?? haha!! I think in Sg, we live to eat.. I ate so much today.. check it out..>

The shop we went.. Usually, there are a long queue one.. but luckily today we went kinda not the peak hour, so we manage to get the good seat! Overall, the food is nice but the attitude of the waitress is.. CANNOT MAKE it!! Arghh..

Just right half boiled eggs! Hmm.. the one in canteen 2 kenot compare at all.. its either over cooked or not cooked! haiz.. fail!

And this is 'ha kau'.. how can we dun try the dimsum rite since we are in some HK restaurant!

Polo pau! hehe.. in between the bun are really pineapple and butter! :) But still the crystal jade one nicer! haha

4) After that heavy meal, we watched Pirates of the Carribean!! Hmm.. We were lucky to have good seat despite the truth that we didnt book the tickets! Haha..
This particular movie is very meaningful to me.. All the 3 episodes, I watched at different place. I watched the first one in Malacca, second one in Genting, and this one of course in Singapore! But i watched it with the same person, Cy.. and during that 3 different movie, the feelings I have when I walked in the cineplex with him was different.. :P

Hmm.. This 3rd episode wasnt that facinating as the first.. hehe.. Not that funny also.. Perhaps, Jack Sparrow too mature with time! hehee..

5) By the time we finished the movie, its already 10pm! So took train to go back to NTU! haha.. Then, we stopped at one of the hawker centre in boonlay for supper! OMG.. I turning fat!! help me!

6) You may think..so late already, it should be time to go back and have a hot bath and sleep! Ha! Its still not the end of my day.. haha.. due to the guilt in me after consuming so much unhealthy food, I forced Cy to walk walk with me.. so in the end we went to the SUN, Ntu newly opened 24 hours mini mart..

Thought of the day 2

Hmm.. yesterday, I watched one HK drama.. then the father of the main chacracter tell him that "what most difficult to earn is not money, instead its time"

Hmm.. sounds very true isnt it?? Its like everyone is fairly given 24 hours.. but do we all live each minute or even each second as though we are gonna leave this world the next minute or second? Hmm.. certainly there will not be enough of time if we were to live life that way which means that every second, we need to crack our head to think what's most meaningful to do.. So, does that mean that we should not slack? hai.. Someone even told me B4 that "arghh, we all should be given 48 hours a day so that we can sleep more".. haha..

So..WASTE NO TIME.. Tell people you love and care NOW!! that u love them and care for them!! :)

Then, the wise man in the show says again, "Do you know who are the people that will fight with you as though you are the worse enemy ever, and the next minute, they will hug u and say I love you??" hehe.. answer is simply.. FAMILY MEMBERS..

Heehehee.. I was so touch by what he said.. missing my parents lots. Though sometimes, well actually most of the time, my mom always gives lots of headache to me, and she constantly nags, she is still my mom.. Love you! :)

goldilocks

Hmm.. at this point of time, I feel like the Goldilocks...Well, everybody should know who is Goldilocks rite? She is the girl who sit on the bears' chair, eat their porridge, and sleep on their beds!! Haizz.. Similar to my case, I used cy's roomie's laptop and ate all his chips!!

:( and I walked to Nanyang mart to replace him the chip... TOO BAD!! They dun sell mister potatoe!! ARgh.. and so I went out of NTu to buy, yet!! By the time i came back, the roomie is already back.. haizz..

So rite now, feeling bad.. I am waiting for him to return from his hall meeting and confess my horrible behavior.. With this, I promise never to eat his stuff anymore.. But seriously, if u are sitting at his table, U surely could not resist but to munch his junks.. misterpotatoes,sweets,biscuits,lolipop,chocolates,and etc etc la..

Hai.. I feel so bad!! :(

My Sunday!

Hmm.. Woke up already its noon! I have been sleeping late and waking up late! Its totally unhealthy! I want to get back my healthy lifestyle ler.. hehe

But anyway, Today!! I went swimming again at 2PM!! So sunny yet i go swim! haha.. now due to my craziness, I suffer from sun burn on both my shoulders! haha.. However, its very syok! Hehe went sun bathing also! haha.. Next time, I gonna bring a book to read! hehe.. Lots of bikini babe there too! :P

hehe..After that, I went to cook the mushroom soup i bought that day from marks&spencer. look!! Its look delicious rite? Even better after i added sausages in it!! hahaha


hmm.. and sad to say that my com is still infected by the spy ware lor.. see!

Silly me thought the Pc will heal overnight.. haha!! But i still hope and pray it will go away!! wluek!

Okie, Right now I seriously need to go study already... Quiz on 5 of June, and final exam on 13 JUne!! SO soon rite.? THis whole special semester is really fast.. time does flies!! :(

Hmpf..!! I am unhappy today! I got kicked out of the hall!! Argh.. Im homeless right now because I didnt meet the cut off point which is 13 and my point is 12!! I miss by 1 point lor.. angry!

Second thing that is gonna drive me mad is my laptop crash!! Oh no.. window cant start! So, wont be able to blog that frequent. But that's not the main concern. Im terribly worried! Haizz.. My mom gonna kill me.. :(

Happy again.. Oh ya I just came back too from trying the boonlay market nasi lemak. Wow!! The queue was really long. I think we probably waited bout more than 30 minutes ba.. Shared a plate of nasi lemak with jane. Haha no photo of it since jane will be blogging bout it too!! Hehe..

Today!!

Today is another long long day.. Began with a light breakfast in Canteen 2 with Cy.. Had breads and coffee! After that, we went ADM (Art,Design & Media).. wow!!

When I enter the school, suddenly felt as though I had just entered a different dimension in NTU. The majestic building, awesome design, and futuristic things..

Then, Cy and I went to the library.. haha lotsa cool stuff too ler..see the Pcs, like the one in those cafe.. :)

Later, I went Holland V!! Wanna try the Katong Laksa, otak-otak, and some chicken wings.. haha we had satay too... Suddenly, we tot we were back in MLK cuz in Sg, seldom do we have the chance for hawker food!! Miss home~

Lastly, our final destination.. cold storage!! Actually, we just go in there for air-cond!! haha~ check out some practical frozen food.. they actually have ready-made pizza and SATAY!! With microwave, we basically do not need to cook ler.. but this is bad.. long lost our ancestors' recipe of real healthy home-cooked food! Say bye to real food and hey to *ting* microwaveable food!! :(

Manic's outing

Ooo.. Sorry that my blog keeps lagging behind time. cuz now only I wanna blog about the Manic's outing yesterday.. but HH and Jy didnt join us ler.. But Manic were accompanied by Huiqi's bf who claim himself the tenth manic member.. haha!! This is because Manic has 9 of us.. and yesterday we were saying that 'ohh, HH and Jy are not here, only 7 of us' But he say '1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8.. only one didnt come!' WLUEK~

Ohh ya.. we went to Gelare in Plaza Sing. at Dhoby Gout! If we had went to the town one, I may meet jane, cuz she was there!! haha Though its half price, do not be fooled!! Its only half price for the waffle not the ice creams!! One scoop of the ice cream is $2.60!! wluekkk.. Ex-nya.. Im terribly broke ler~

Hmm.. and after that, as usual the waiters are waiting for us to leave.. Seriously, we take up a lot of space!! Immediately after we left, they quickly separate the joined tables for the other customers!! So mean! Bleah... and that left us with no place to go!!

Fortunately, Xian provided us with the first agenda, which is buying sun-block.. Xian, I will wait for your souvenir from US ya!! haha...

hmm.. then we just non stop walking and talking and block the way of other ppl! bleah.. can't help it ler.. too many of us d!!

We went to marks and spencer, and i bought this.. hehe.. yummy, can't wait to try it!! hmm.. greedy yammie bought so many things lor!! haha~


Ok, after that, all the way from dhoby gout back to boonlay, Xian and I keep discussing bout the series i just watched!!Oh no, I really really suffering from the withdrawal symptom ler.. I love the show so so much!! argh~~ Cant wait for the part 2! :) surely be lovely~ yayy!!

Oh and yesterday nite, something real bad happened!! I was so sad lor... again dunno which idiot pathetic a*sHoL*!! stole my br_.. so angry you know.. pian tai person.. arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh... stupid fool... !! And its stolen when its in the machine lor.. arghhh!!

Hmm.. actually I just got back from a research studies.. usually I just helped out, but today Dr cha left me all alone in the lab to do !! He said he doesnt want to contaminate the data as all the participants are his students. Oh no it was my first time doing this particular studies.. hehe But luckily everything went well cuz this study is much easier and straight forward. :)
Lastly, he gave me 3 psychology textbook!! so nice of him~ bleah.. but the problem is.. will the lazy me read it?? hahaha :)

Friendships.

Besides family, friends are the one we communicate and interact with most! Since young, my best friends were my cousins. We share everything including the deepest secrets!! Of course, I trust them alot!

But we all grew elder, friends are those not blood-related, rather friends are classmates. I remember my first friend when I was in primary one. Her name is Ai Ling. She was crying on the first day of school. Then, we became friends when I helped her to complete the writing teacher asked us to do! hehe.. After that, we make another new friend name Annie. So for FOUR years in primary school, I only had two close friends. I do not really mix with the rest.. probably i was shy...

Soon, when I was in primary 4, I knew Irene, Hui, Jane, Daph, and Karyn. We are like the mean girls lar.. well, even one day a teacher came in said, "daphne and gang plz stand up!" Chuak-nya, we all stood up.. (please do not think its gang or what lar.. we are just a clique of friends) .. This is the time my social circle has explanded a lil!

When I entered secondary school, social circle do not only include people from the same primary, but as well as from other schools. Then I knew MynWee(currently may be the next Miss Malaysia), Ivy, Peiyee, and many many more ler...

Life in secondary school was the best!! I sit between Ivy and Mynwee. We were like so noisy lor!! Non-stop making fun of other ppl.. I really miss those times.

Of course not forgetting my second home Ujong Pasir (actually be more precisely, its irene;s home lar) Sharon , Irene and I always stay back and wait till its tuition time. We would walk and talk and laugh all the ways till we reach!! hehe.. there was once irene almost bang into a pot lor.. cuz we were too crazy!!

Right now, when Im in Singapore.. I also make a new group of friends!! Now.. my social circle expand even bigger..from different state in Msia and Singaporeans.. Not to emphasize the word 'new' anymore.. cuz time really flies.. and I already knew MANIC for almost a year!! Love ya lots...

All I wanna share is as we grow older, life sometimes cannot be that innocent as when we young. Things are more complicated and this really drive us to face the competitive and realistic world! Sadly, the more competitive we ought to be, the more we try to compare.. and the easiest people who serve as comparison is our nearby friends! And when comparison comes along in a friendship, we tend to neglect the essential elements that is in friendships.. We forgot the importance of it, we became selfish and self-centered! We some how forgotten the our own initial innocent motive when we first became friends.

May all friendships really is the kind of ship that never sink!!! :)

bad start!

Hmm.. I woke up considerably late today!! Oh no.. i have less than one hour to the time I suppose to be there for work!! Haizz..

Then, Dr Cha had chosen his another student helper already. I wasnt informed at all about her until Chee hui(his graduate student) told me! Well, sorry Manic!! I cant help out. :(

Well, and today!! I 'kau char' everything! usually its Dr cha who is gonna administer the second part of the experiment, but today its ME!! Nervously, I did one of the procedure wrongly!! My goodness!! Horrible rite.. I was so so sorry for cheehui!!

hmm.. luckily she didnt blame me cuz she say 'si kuan' liao!! Cuz its either her, or Dr cha himself or me will do something in any one of the sessions!! hehe...

Hopefully I do not repeat the silly mistake!! I am gonna be busy !! yeah.. 'chong shi de sen huo'

Guess what?? I woke up at 810 AM today!! Hehe.. Purpose is to go to church ler.. See me so good.. Cy and I had to wake up so so early because City Harvest church is in Expo!! Its bout 1 and a half hours of train ride!! Far hor...

After the service, we went to IKEA!! Yeah.. there is nice but kinda small compared to KL one(the asia largest IKEA what!!) hehe... And crowded somemore.. But.. we bought few stuff.. Ooo.. Would like to share with you all this funny but interesting stuff in IKEA...

Yay!! This one is my favorite of all yesterday.. Its like hor fun but lots of taugeh!! Even i dun eat taugeh i feel its nice.. so it really really had to be nce rite?? bleahhh..

hall 7

This entry is especially done for Sharon! haha She has requested me to blog about my hostel. Well, in Ntu, we call our hostel as hall of residential. Shortly, hall! hehe so there are hall 1 to hall 16. Of course, there are two region; new hall and old hall area.. hehe and sadly I was assign to the old hall area and even worse the most isolated hall in the whole Ntu, HALL 7!!! *bleah* It was initially side by side with hall 3, but 2 years ago, hall 3 was demolished and shifted to new hall area, WITH AIR COND!! OMG rite.. why didnt they demolish hall 7!! haiz.. Nvm nvm...

But after some time, I get used to it... There are a few positive sides of Hall 7...
1) Its very very near school!! Its too near that sometimes its faster than taking the hopeless shutter! hehehe :)

2) I have great neighbors... Singaporeans and Johorian.. Sometimes, I will just spend whole afternoon talking to them.. hehe...

3) No canteen.. so arr can kam fei if lazy wanna go out to eat!!! hahaha

4) Lots of trees.. ( I especially love this..) See pics ler..
